Two-day Heritage Train and Bus Excursion to Wallangarra and Tenterfield.

  • Depart Warwick 8.00 am, Saturday 8th April
  • Return to Warwick 6.00 pm Sunday 9th April

Southern Downs Steam RailwayJoin the Southern Downs Steam Railway on a magical two day heritage train trip, hauled by their famous C-17 Steam Locomotive No. 971, as you travel from Warwick, climbing the range through Silverwood and Cherry Gully, passing by the Gorge Dam and through two tunnels built around 1880, passing through Dalveen, Stanthorpe, Ballandean, and on to Wallangarra. Then continue the short distance to Tenterfield by coach for your guided tour of the Tenterfield Rail Museum, then a Woolshed Dinner at Arrajay Homestead and overnight Tenterfield motel stay.

On the return trip enjoy a four hour wineries tour by coach around Stanthorpe.

The one price fare includes all train and coach travel, morning and afternoon teas and lunch on both days, dinner and breakfast in Tenterfield, wineries tour, and entry to the wonderful Tenterfield Rail Museum.
